Tom Warner won the April Quick chess tournament last Sat. in Sardinia. Warner went 3-0 defeating Ryan Madden, Nathan Braasch and Pat Patterson. Dave Braasch finished 2nd while Ryan (mad dog) Madden won the u1500 prize. Ryan Palmisano also competed.
In the scholastics, Carl Raymore won a hotly contested section with 5.5/7. Brothers Wes and Chris Darling tied for 2nd with 5/7 and Nathan Palmisano was next with 4/7. Also competing were Nick and Fred Brennan, Brandon Lamont, Sam Tillinghast, and Andrew Joslyn.
