HAVEY WINS U1800 132nd NYS CHAMPIONSHIPS
Congratulations to Benjamin Havey, Kenmore NY, won first place in the U1800 section this weekend in Albany, NY at the 132nd NYS Championship. Others in the same section were Daniel Johnston finished 12th, Pierce Cummings finished 20th and Thomas Warner finished 27th. Trevor Cohn, Kenmore NY won three of six games, finished 29th in the U1300 section, a nice performance by WNY. They are now traveling back home.

Congrats Ben! A dominating performance! I watched most of his games and there was no doubt he was the class of the section.
