Canadian, FIDE International Master for September FIDE Chess Festival

We have received written confirmation that Brian M. Hartman, an International Master and FIDE Master, USCF rated 2450 and FIDE Rating 2388, will be playing in the Buffalo International FIDE Chess Festival on September 17th and 18th at the Gloria J. Parks Community Center, 3242 Main St., Buffalo, NY. This is a FIDE and USCF rated, 5 Rounds, Swiss, Game 120, Two day event.

This will be Mr. Hartman return to International Chess since he last played in the Buffalo Chess tournament in December 2008. He has allowed us to post his picture and he extends an invitation out to FIDE rated players to join him at the Buffalo International FIDE Chess Festivals.

Feel free to make comments and send Brian a welcome back message. He will read any and all comments. He has allowed us to show his bio picture from the canadian chess archives for his friends in the United States.

Guaranteed Cash prizes are $400 - $150 - $100, U2100 -$125, U1800 -$100, U1500 -$100 -$80 and $60. The FIDE Open Section games will start at 10am, 2:30pm, and 7pm on Saturday, Sept.17th and on Sunday, Sept 18th the games will start at 9:30am and 2pm.

The September FIDE Chess Festival, has a early registration by September 1, 2011. All advance registrations are to be made payable to The Archangel 8 Chess Academy. Details to arcangel8chess@yahoo.com.

U1500 section will only play on Saturday, September 17th, 5 Rounds,Swiss, Game 50 with a game schedule starting at 10am, Noon, 2pm, 4pm and 6pm, Advance discount entry fee is $25 vs $35 Cash at the door.

If you know of any FIDE rated players who would like a chance to meet and greet Brian, please let them know of his participation. New York State has the most FIDE rated players in the United States of America.
