Correct idea, but the board is always with A1 in the lower left corner so it is Kg5 not Kb4.

ReplyDeleteIf black leaves control of d6 or b6, then one of the white knights can deliver mate on these squares. So the winning move is to make the knight move away!!
Kb4!
White moves his king to a black square, a square where Black's knights cannot check him. Black is forced to move one of his knights and then he is mated on d6 of b6.
