The Lake Erie Open was won by National Master Barry Davis (2156) with a perfect 4-0 score.
Davis defeated Luka Glinsky(2067) from Erie PA, Vince Woodard(1843), Albert Patterson (1788), and Tom Warner(1760) en route to victory.
The Novice section was won on tie breaks by Tom Callea(1003) with 3 pts. Ryan Madden (1311) took second also with 3pts , while Ben Havey (1339) was third. Callea, in only his second event, saw a 76 point increase in his rating!
