Next Tournament


For those attending The 31st Marchand Open, the following weekend of March 28 & 29th, 2009 at St John Fisher College, you may want to use this as a warm up. It's also FIDE Rated for those who want to get a FIDE rating in hopes of one day becoming a FIDE, International, or even a Grand Master.

5 round Swiss Format, GAME/120, AND FIDE RATED!

Check In on Friday, March 13, 2009 between 6pm and 7pm. Games will start at 7:15pm.

Schedule: Friday at 715pm, Saturday at 11am and 4pm, and Sunday 9am and 2pm.

Advance entry fee $40 or $50 Cash on site, Cash prizes based upon 25 entries, 1st Place $300, 2nd Place $200, 3rd Place $100, Class Prizes: U1900 and U1700 $75.00 each.

On Saturday there also will be a U1450 and Scholastic Section Tournament. 5 Rounds Swiss, Game/60 for U1450 and Scholastics Game/30. U1450 Schedule, Sat. 9:45am, Noon, 2:15pm, 4:30pm, and 7pm. Advance entry fee U1450 - $30 or $40 on site. Cash prizes based upon 20 entries; 1st Place $200, 2nd Place $100, 3rd Place $75.00. Flight #3407 Memorial Section Scholastics Entry fee is $8.00 with Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place winners. Rounds start at 10am until 3pm.
