PULASKI DAY GRAND PRIX 2009

Presented by Willie Hutch Jones Sports Clinic in conjunction with the Archangel 8 Chess Academy.

Saturday, August 15, 2009, Main Place Mall, Upper Level, 390 Main Street, Buffalo New York 14201. FREE PARKING UNDER MALL AND FOOD COURT OPEN during tournament.

This is a United States Chess Federation Open Rated Tournament. The format will be Four Rounds, Swiss System, Game 50, Advance Entry Fee $20 if received no later than Wednesday, August 12, 2009 or $30 Cash only at the door. Adanced Paid participates are guaranteed entry without penalty of one half point bye.

Registration:Starts at 9am until 9:30am. Games start at 9:45am.

Rounds: Rd 1 at 9:45am, Rd 2 at 11:30am, Rd 3 at 1:15pm, Rd 4 at 3pm. Byes are available with advance notice to tournament director prior to the next round.

CASH PRIZES based upon 17 paid total entries. Open $100 and $60, U1900 $60 & $40, U1500 $50.00. Play others of same rating sections. Sections will be combined if necessary.

Willie Hutch Jones Star Scholastics Section: Five Rounds, Game 30, Entry fee $5.00. RATED Beginners Open - Two Sections, U600 and U 1200. Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place winners. Registration closes at 9:45am. Games start at 10am, 11am, Noon, 1pm and 2pm, Awards to follow after last games.

Scholastic players may bring a bag lunch/snacks!
