Day 2 USCF National K-6 Elementary Championships

Five of the seven games are now completed for Day 2 for Ashton. Round 3 started at 9am central time resulted in a lost to a 3rd grader rated 619 from Michigan, Round 4 at 2pm central, resulted in a win against a 3rd grader rated 662 from Texas and Round 5 started at 7pm central resulted in a lost to a 2nd grader rated 587 from Washington. Overall Championship record for Ashton has 2 wins and 3 losses with two remaining games for sunday starting at 9am and 2pm central. His opponents are listed as follows, Rd 1 is placed in 34th, Rd 2 is in 88th place, Rd 3 is in 120th, Rd 4 is in 327 and Rd 5 opponent is in 127th place. Ashton appears to still have a no quit attitude and continues to play competitively. Keep those positive feelings and thoughts for Ashton on his final days of Championship Chess!
