This problem was given by my coach GM Petr Kiriakov.

  1. I. 1.g5+ Kg7(not 1…Kh5? Nf4+) 2.Nf6 Kf8 3.Kd6 Qg7 4.h5 Qh8 (Not 4…Qg5: 5.Nh7+) h6. Zugzwang and white is winning. Black Q is useless here.
It seems that black has to follow II. Variation bellow.
II. 1.g5+ Kg7 2.Nf6 Kf8 3.Kd6 Kg7 4.Ke7 Kh8. This seems to be draw. White just goes with King on e8, e7, while black has available g7 square for either K or Q. The same will result if black went to h8 with K on 2nd move.

    How accurate is my comment?

    Nice photos on photography page.

  2. Marijan is correct except that in his first variation after 1.g5+ Kg7 2.Nf6 Kf8 3.Kd6 Qg7 4.h5 Qh8 h6 , white can still draw after 5.Qxh6 gxh6 stalemate.
