Is Nxc3 playable?

The position is from a game nearly a 100 years old. Can white play Nxc3?, if so what is your evaluation?

    Thanks for posting. Since I recognize this position from Capablanca's game after all exchanges on c3 there is no pont to write anything. But if I did not know I doubt I would find the key move which comes after those exchanges.
