ReplyDeleteI regret that I will be unable to defend my title this year, because I am still in Montreal on sabbatical.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I've been able to play some chess up here. The Sherbrooke Open the weekend of May 22--24 attracted 1 GM and 4 IMs, and I finished clear 2nd with 4.5-0.5, drawing one IM and beating another in the last round. Crosstable and a brief blurb are here. I will return to the Buffalo area on July 1.
I thought I will play, but I cannot. Regrets.
