Next Tournament

SARDINIA SATURDAY QUICK GET IN!

There is yet another event you can be involved in this Saturday. Here is the information from TD Tom Warner:
QUICK CHESS TOURNAMENT Sat. Dec 1st at the Sardinia Community Center, 12320 Savage Rd, Sardinia,NY Must be a USCF member to play(can join at tournament) 2 Sections: Adults: 3SS G 29, EF $20 RDS: 10,11,12 Prizes based on entries Scholastic- Round Robin- play as many games as possible in 3hrs! EF: $10 Games start at 10am. Trophy for 1st place. All Scholastic players will receive a prize! For Info call Tom Warner 716-496-5230

    It went well, 12 kids showed up,4 from Bishop Timon high school,1 from Hamburg, the rest from Pioneer. Ryan Madden,6th grader from Pioneer, won with 10 wins and 1 loss, followed by the 4 Bishop Timon players.
    Unfortunately,only one adult player showed. Next time should be better as Harish said he would be there and some others are probable.

    Congratulation to Ryan.
    What did this one adult do. guess watched the games.
    Tom, if I come there in near future, would you be able to play? I know it is not easy to conduct the tournament and play in it.
