Joe Golombek Jr.- Buffalo Common Council Member representing the North District (including the Riverside area) is sponsoring a chess tournament at the Riverside Public Library (820 Riverside St.) on Saturday, May 9, 2009 from Noon to 5pm. Entry is FREE and there will be free Pizza too! Need not be a USCF member for this unrated event. Although there is no age limit for participation, it will be limited to 28 players. Trophies for First, Second, and Third Place and a bonus $20 to the first place winner.
